Your Questions, Answered.

Can I customise your cabin design, or build my own?

Of course! Consider our base cabin as a starting point. It has everything you need to get started, and represents the best design, materials and workmanship on the market. We understand that many elements of a build can be subjective - we can provide alternative options and quotes for any element of the cabin, just ask!

Do I need to connect to utilities?

Nope! Our cabin can operate completely off-grid in remote locations. We include a composting toilet capable of naturally degrading waste as standard, and you can choose to add other off-grid options such as pre-installed solar electricity kit complete with battery and solar panels and a water tank for rainwater collection. Of course, if utilities are available and in range, connecting them can be an easy alternative.

Do you deliver and install?

Absolutely! Delivery and installation fees are calculated separately because these prices can fluctuate quite a bit depending on your location and site. Simply give us an address and we will provide a quote for delivery and install!

Does the cabin require a 'Development Approval' from council?

Recent NSW state legislation has determined that many temporary or 'manufactured' dwellings do not require a traditional 'Development Approval' from council. That being said, it can depend on the specific council area you're in.

What is the lead time on delivery after I order?

Once your order is placed, you can expect your cabin to be delivered in roughly 2-3 months, depending on our build queue. Simply send us a message to get a more accurate timeline - Contact Us.

Where can I see a cabin?

We have two cabins on vineyards both less than 2hrs drive from Sydney (Southern Highlands & Hunter Valley) which are available to book here. We can also arrange a brief viewing if an overnight stay isn't possible.

Do you make bigger cabins? 2-bedroom cabins?

Yes! We can build up to 10m long and 3.5m wide. We have innovative floor plans available for larger cabins - get in touch to find out more!

Do you make cabins on trailers?

Yes, in addition to our signature 3.5m wide cabins, we do also have models that fit on the traditional 'tiny house' on a trailer footprint.

Do you deliver to my area?

We deliver Australia wide! That being said, Australia is a big place and delivery is calculated on distance. If you live in a more remote area, just let us know where and we will arrange a quote.

Can you build to meet bushfire standards?

Yes, we can upgrade relevant components of the cabin to meet your bushfire-resistance requirements.

Do you provide financing options for your cabins?

There are many lenders out there that appreciate that you are purchasing an income generating asset, and as such are happy to help finance some of the purchase price. Just ask us to put you in touch with our finance partner and get a quote!

Can I list a cabin on AirBnb, Booking.com and other short stay rental platforms?

Definitely! The beauty of using existing short stay marketplaces such as these means that you can reach an audience looking to book accommodation from the day your cabin arrives!

Do I need my own booking site?

If you plan on using your cabin as a short term rental, you do not technically require a direct booking site (i.e. a dedicated website that you personally own and operate which lets people book your cabin online). Listing your cabin on third party booking platforms such as AirBnb, Stayz or Booking.com will certainly generate bookings, however the downside is that you will be paying a small commission to these platforms each time someone books. Having guests use a direct booking site will minimise booking fees and allows you to keep more revenue. It can also give you greater control of your listings and allow you to promote your own brand content. This is something we can set up for you, just ask!

How much could I charge per night?

What you can charge for nightly use of the cabin is dependant on a number of factors, including your location and its popularity, any local competition, the time of year and day of the week. That being said, many locations within a reasonable drive time of a major city can expect to be able to charge anywhere from $300 per night upwards.
